En la pared...

En la pared es una colección inspirada en el mundo del graffitti y en todo lo que lo rodea; la forma de vestir del graffittero, estética y forma de los graffittis... y para ello me he inspirado en el trabajo de un graffittero al que seguramente todos conoceréis: nano 4814. Vigués de nacimiento, empezó a pintar graffittis en 1991. Trabaja como ilustrador y como diseñador gráfico, pero lo que realmente le interesa es seguir exponiendo su obra en la calle. Podréis ver la calle plagada de su famoso "calamar", del que os dejo una imagen para que refresquéis la memoria...

Tarta de fresa...

Esta colección nace de una propuesta de materiales, que eran: blonda plateada, hule con estampado de fresas, estropajo de alambre, esponja con forma de pompón y era obligatorio incluír punto.

Empezó como un reto, puesto que los materiales eran muy diferentes, pero acabó siendo una de mis colecciones favoritas, ya no porque sean prendas fáciles de usar, sino porque me he sentido muy satisfecha de las ilustraciones.

Así mismo, he incluido en la imagen que veréis a continuación, la carpeta donde iban guardados los diseños, puesto que es muy importante la presentación de cada trabajo. He incluido en esta, parte de algunos de los materiales propuestos, una bandeja de repostería, dándole así énfasis al título de la obra.

Strawberry cake...

This collection born through a propose of materials: silver paper doilies, strawberry-patterned oilcloth, wire wool, pom-pom shaped sponge and it was required to use knitwear.

It began like a challenge because there were different materials but it finished like one of my favourites collections; it isn´t because I want to wear it, but I felt happy with the illustrations.

Anyway, I included one picture of the folder where the drawings went presented because I think that is so important the way to present each work.

Empiezo las entradas de esta sección mostrando lo que ahora mismo me está ocupando el tiempo... entre otras cosas, una colección de accesorios para los más pequeños...

La idea nació al mismo tiempo que el bebé de una de mis amigas, ya que quería regalarle algo especial... y este fue el resultado:

Baby accesories.

I begin the post on this section showing what I´m creating now... between another things, one collection of baby accesories.

Más adelante vi una oportunidad en el "Mercadillo Maniquíes" de poder mostrar las cositas que hago, y poder compartirlas con más gente. Y aunque hasta el día de hoy me ha sido imposible asistir, espero que sea muy prontito. Aquí os dejo el enlace del Pub en el que cada primer sábado de cada mes tiene lugar dicho evento, para que podáis informar sobre fechas del mercadillo, cómo participar, etc...

es una muy buena oportunidad de ver cosas realmente originales y de poder compartir el trabajo propio.

Y así fue como me animé a diseñar más modelos, de baberos, braguitas y bodys. Os dejo una foto de un encarguito que acabo de entregar, y más adelante iré poniendo más de estos complementos y de otras cosas que igualmente estoy preparando para el mercadillo.

I couldn´t start to explain what things inspires me without him... and the truth is that in my sketchbook, the first page is covered with some of his work, when I didn´t know a lot about him.

Uno de mis primeros bocetos de moda...

Estos son de mis primeros bocetos, y uno de los primeros concursos a los que envié un trabajo... Más de tres años después, aquí estoy recopilando todo este trabajo.

Se trataba de un certamen de moda nupcial con elementos reciclados y, la verdad, me pasé un poquito arriesgando en el corto del vestido de novia, lo reconozco :)

Eso sí, el chico me enamoró ;)

One of my first fashion sketches

These are some of my first sketches, and the first one that I sent to a contest where I tried to participate... More than three years after, I´m here to collect all this work.

It was a bridal contest with recicled elements and, it´s true, I was very risky with the short dress of the bride, I know.

But, it´s ok, I loved the boy.

Mis cositas...

... son aquellas cosas que hago porque me apetece, porque lo que más me gusta es experimentar con los tejidos y crear complementos e infinidad de cosas que poder usar "exclusivamente"... y lo pongo entre comillas porque familiares, amigos y vecinos podrán disfrutar de ellos también.
